Gunshin Levy Award

Awarded to Young Researchers for their dedication, commitment and contributions to the field area of iron homeostasis

To honor the memory of Hiromi Gunshin, and that of Joanne Levy who died at young age after having done a pioneer works on iron homeostasis, the BioIron Board of Directors proposed to establish a Fund to grant two travel awards in the name of Hiromi Gunshin, and Joanne Levy to support young scientists to attend the BioIron meetings.
